Surgeon Madhavan (R. Madhavan) and a junior doctor (Vivek) work in the same hospital. Madhavan gets married to an avid music lover, Simi (Simran), who is an ardent fan of a dancer, Azhagu (Lawrence). The junior doctor is in love with a nurse (Sneha) in the hospital. Madhavan's married life receives a sudden jolt when a foreign returned girl (Radhika Choudhury) lands at his house with 'his' child. A furious Simi divorces her husband and leaves the house. After her father's (Nizhalgal Ravi) death, just when she gets ready to go back to her estranged husband, she is in for a greater shock when she learns that the nurse is in love with her estranged husband. To teach him a lesson, she decides to get married to dancer Azhagu… What ensues is part of the gripping climax.
